To help us help you faster, include your iOS version, the app version (Account tab), and what you were doing when the problem happened.
Managing your subscription
Subscriptions are billed through Apple, so they are managed in iOS Settings, not in the app:
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Endó to change plan or cancel.
Cancelling stops future renewals — you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refunds
Apple handles all refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com using the Apple account you bought with.
Restoring a purchase
If you reinstalled the app or switched devices and your subscription isn't showing, make sure you are signed in with the same Apple account you purchased with, then tap Restore purchases on the paywall screen.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and all your data from Account → Delete account in the app. See the account deletion page for full details.
Common questions
Does Endó diagnose endometriosis?
No, and it doesn't predict whether you have it either. Endó matches your symptoms against the patterns published in a peer-reviewed study, and shows you where they line up. That's a comparison, not a result. Only a qualified clinician can diagnose endometriosis — use your match as something to bring to a doctor, not as an answer in itself.
Where does the symptom matching come from?
From Goldstein & Cohen (2023), Self-report symptom-based endometriosis prediction using machine learning, published in Scientific Reports (doi.org/10.1038/s41598-023-32761-8). The authors asked 886 women — 474 diagnosed with endometriosis, 412 not — which of 56 symptoms they had experienced in the past month. Endó's questionnaire is built on those published per-symptom frequencies. The paper is open access, so you can read it in full.
What is Endó actually for, then?
Getting an endometriosis diagnosis takes six to ten years on average, and a lot of that time is spent trying to describe symptoms from memory in short appointments. Endó's real job is to help you notice a pattern earlier and keep a structured record of it, so you arrive at the doctor with months of data instead of a rough recollection.
Where is my data stored?
In an encrypted database hosted by Supabase, readable only by your own authenticated account. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Can I change my cycle information after onboarding?
Yes. You can update your last period date and cycle length in the app at any time without going through onboarding again.
Do I have to connect Apple Health?
No. HealthKit access is optional and the app works fully without it. You can grant or revoke it in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
